The Spring Academy looks to enroll 25 students each year to the sixth grade class. Ideal applicants are students who primarily live in Independence or its surrounding areas, and who attend public or charter schools. Prospective students should demonstrate personal commitment and academic promise though most may not have had opportunities that allow them to reach their fullest potential.

The goal of The Spring Academy is to educate middle school students to prepare them for a college-preparatory secondary education. Through our unique curriculum and comprehensive learning approach, students learn to become leaders in our school, in their communities, and in our world.

How to Apply to The Spring Academy

To be considered for admission to The Spring Academy, interested families should:

1. CONTACT US
Please email us at admin@hallspringhighschool.com to express your interest and request more information about the application process.

2. SUBMIT APPLICATION MATERIALS
After initial contact, we will guide you through the process of submitting the following:
- Completed application form (we will email this to you)
- Transcript authorization form
- Three (3) Confidential Teacher Observation Forms (Please include math & English teachers, plus a third of your choice)
- Both 4th and 5th grade report cards
- Results of state assessments for the past two (2) years
- Copy of birth certificate
- Current immunization record

These documents can be emailed to our Admissions Coordinator at admin@hallspringhighschool.com or mailed to 3626 Blue Ridge Blvd, Independence, MO 64052 USA.

3. FAMILY CONVERSATION
All interested families must participate in a family and student conference. We will arrange this after receiving your application materials.

Students are admitted on a rolling basis. If an applicant is currently enrolled at a private school, we will require a principal referral in addition to the documentation listed above.

Tuition

Thanks to the generosity of our community partners and supporters, we are able to offer financial aid to eligible families. Please contact us for more information about tuition and financial assistance options.

Refer a Family

If you know someone who would benefit from a Hall Spring High School education, please email our Admissions Coordinator at admin@hallspringhighschool.com to refer a prospective family. Admissions events are held throughout the year. Families who join our mailing list will receive news and updates from The Spring Academy in addition to invitations to special events.
